Each local Girl Friends Chapter may nominate only one young person, who is a graduating high school senior; accepted for undergraduate study at a four year accredited academic institution of higher education. To be eligible, a scholarship applicant must:
- Be a citizen of the United States;
- Be a graduating high school senior accepted to a four (4) year accredited institution for undergraduate study;
- Have a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or above on a 4.3 scale;
- Have a SAT score not less than 1200 on a 2400 scale or an ACT score not less than 18 on a 36 scale;
- Not be a member of the immediate family or a relative of a Girl Friend;
- Submit an original personal essay of 250-300 words about influences that helped shape your life including community service, extra curricular activities, or a rigorous academic program;
- Be sponsored by a local GF Chapter;
- Fulfill the completed application submission deadline requirement.
Scholarships will be awarded for up to four years, providing the award recipient satisfies the renewal requirements.

You can download or print out the application and submit it, along with the required information to the sponsoring GF Chapter, or complete the application online, print it out and forward the completed application to the sponsoring GF Chapter. A temporary password will be provided to the applicant so that you can save your work and return to the form as you obtain the required attachments.
